This agreement is between you and Mike Tucci Mastering ("we") and governs your use of the MasterQC application ("the software"). Installing or using the software means you accept these terms.
On purchase of a license key we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and activate the software on up to two computers you own or control (the key's machine limit; NFR or custom keys may differ). The trial grants the same rights for 14 days without a key. After the trial, the free mode remains licensed for single-track sessions with evaluation-marked reports.
The software analyzes audio locally on your machine. We claim no rights over your audio or the reports you generate. Reports carry your studio's branding; you are responsible for what you deliver to your clients.
We may provide updates that change or remove features. License activation requires an internet connection; activated installs work offline for extended periods.
The license ends if you materially breach these terms, or when a purchase is refunded or charged back (the key is revoked). Sections 3, 6 and 7 survive termination.
The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Analysis results are an aid to your professional judgment, not a substitute for it — you remain responsible for the masters you deliver.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
